Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How long do they last?

A. Olivie jewelry is made with living plants cut fresh from the garden and then arranged by hand onto each piece. They look their best for a single wear (like a corsage or boutonniere). Succulent plants do have a little more staying power than cut flowers, so if you have a piece with succulents, you may get a little more mileage out of it. Succulent jewelry can also stay fresh for several days before you wear it, so it is an excellent choice for shipping or out-of-town events.

Q. How should I take care of my botanical jewelry?

A.  Your Olivie is made with freshly cut plants so they are alive and won’t always behave predictably. But you can keep your jewelry looking its best with a few tips.

  • Protect your Olivie from knocks and bumps. The plants are delicate and can break or bruise.

  • To adjust the size of your ring or bracelet, push or pull on the exposed metal, not the plants.

  • Keep your jewelry in a sealed container with. moist paper towels in the fridge until you are ready to wear it.

Q. What should I do with my Olivie after I wear it?
